: My wife and I are having concieving an she recently had a laperoscopy. During the procedure the doctor found fibroid cysts and endometriosis. In the follow up appointment we were told that she needed to have an estrogen shot to further help the endo. I have done some reading and it seems like hormone treatment for endo does nothing to "fix" it . The treatment merely prevents it from happening. Since she doesn't have any pain and the goal is to get pregnant I am wondering about the wisdom of this treatment. Can anybody shed some light on this? I want to thoroughly question the doctor before we go any further.
I had to have surgery to remove pelvic adhessions. That may be the case for you guys. However, some abdominal scar
tissue is not operable. The doctor described mine as like a spider web. The surgery was called Lysis Of Adhessions.
Ask the doctor.
