: : : : i am 20 years old and i was on norplant for a year and a half. i have been off of it now for a year. my husband and i have been trying all this time to get pregnant and nothing happens. he got his sperm count checked and he is fine. i was just wondering if anyone has had norplant and went through the same thing i am. any information will be highly appreciated! thanks and god bless you all who are trying :o)
: : : >>>YES, MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR 2 YEARS AFTER MY NORPLANTS. IT IS VERY SAD THAT AT THE AGE OF 23 I CANNOT GET PREGNANT AND I FEEL THAT I NEVER WILL. MY SISTER ALREADY HAD A BABY WHEN SHE GOT HER NORPLANTS, BUT AFTER SHE HAD HERS TAKEN OUT, SHE CANT HAVE ONE EITHER. COINCIDENCE? I DONT THINK SO.

: : im 27 and i had norplants on for about four or five yrs and i cannot concieve either. we have been trying for two yrs as well and nothing. i have developed a lazy brain says my doctor and now im taking vitex and just started on false unicorn so i pray that this works and i can concieve soon. this is the hardest thing for a women to go through.

: I had gotten pregnant 4 months after I had my norplant removed. I conceived a baby and 2 weeks later, I conceived another baby.
: I had a set of twins that were born about 3 1/2 months early. Both have Cerebral Palsy along with other medical problems. I had another baby 2 years after the twins were born. That baby also has Cerebral Palsy with other medical problems.

WOW! I was doing a internet search to see what I could find on this topic. I had Norplant removed four years ago and have not used any other form of birth
control and no conception has occurred. Now I see I may be right about my problem, although I have had it removed for longer than all of you. After reading
your messages, I am calling my doctor to have a complete hormone check done. I can't understand why I can't conceive, and now I'm afraid if I do, something
may be wrong with the children????!!! This was a dumb decision on my part in the first place, I knew it sounded to good to be true!
