: After 12 years of trying and countless procedures we are now going to adopt. In six weeks we will have our new baby!!!!! I have a question.... is it possible to breast feed, I mean is there some way that you can help your body start lactating? Is there any sort of hormone etc. that you can take? Janae, Congratulations on your new baby! Six weeks in not very long, are you ready? My sister-in-law adopted last year and she is always saying she could not love her child anymore even if she had given birth to him. What makes a Mom is the devotion, love, energy, caring! Enjoy every moment as they go so quickly.
