Am concerned about my daughter. She started the birth control pill in May of 1999 before her marriage in July of 1999. She was never regulated on them. The doctor changed them several times but nothing seemed to work for her. (periods every two or three weeks). She stopped taking them in December of 1999. Since then, she has not had a period without a pill to start her. Her doctor has told her she is not ovulating. She started on a pill to make her ovulate in July, 2000, and has taken it every month since then. She is checked every month and it still not ovulating. If things dont change in November, the doctor is going to talk to her about the alternatives. She is ready to have a baby. She will be 31 in January. She also found out in May that she has a blood disorder that is hereditary. It is called cardiolipin anticoagulant. Her ob/gyn now has her on l baby aspirin a day for this problem. If there is anyone out there who has been through any of this or knows more about it, let me know. I would like to know what has caused her not to ovulate. Maybe the pill???
