GET ANOTHER DOCTOR!!!! My husband and I were having the same problem last year. It also took us a year to conceive. I know how frustrating it is. My hubbys sperm cou t was also low. His motility was only 20% also. LET ME TELL YA...IT IS NOT HOPELESS! I have a screaming 4 month old now!! LOL My gyn told me to have my hubby drink lots of water. I know it sounds crazy as I thought he was also but he explained how it can help the sperm to "liven" up. AND IT DID. Just an easy thing to try before going to a fertility specialist. There are so many things they can do now. Get rid of that quack that told you there is no hope! It may be that your hubby has a varicole (sp?) and a urologist can correct that with surgery. There are many things they can do. Dont give up hope! I know how it is to be trying to get pg and not. Also, there is a great support group for fertility and women who have been trying to concieve. Go to www.babiestoday.com and go to theior community boards. Try the TTC 18 months or the infertility board. The TTC board has GREAT support! Good luck and DONT give up hope!!!!
