I know exactly how you feel though my diagnosis is a bit different. I am currently enrolled in a donor egg program (that would be an option for you with endometriosis as well as sperm donation). I am at the point of cost of treatment as well - $5000. is a low estimate and would be curious to know what that would include exactly. I don't know where you live, but I can refer you to a great clinic in PA if you wish to look into donor. I've done extensive timely research and soul searching, so if I can be of any help, let me know. The angry subsides, but the pain remains - I know EXACTLY how you feel and then some!!! Best wishes!
: i have endometriosis and my husband has no sperm count. we were referred to a private clinic and were told that the cost of treatment is approximately 5000.00 for a 15% chance of conception. After 6 years of trying for a baby and then finding that we have such a hugh hill to climb just to raise the funds I feel numb.
: We have been informed that IVF with ICSI is not available on NHS. I rang several places including hospitals and they all told me to get my doctor on the case so to speak but when I made the joint appointment he was quite abrupt and basically told me that infertility is not priority so there was nothing he could do.
: I have had nobody to talk to and I try to act brave with my husband. My sister has had a baby by my husbands brother and its very hard looking at the nearest thing to a baby it seems that I will every have.
: It seems that nobody really cares for anybody with this problem unless you have plenty of money.
: It seems that everytime I speak to somebody the news is that somebody else is pregnant. I find it very difficult to be happy in these situations.
: I feel a bit better for writing this but it is a very lonely road.
