I had never spotted before but when I was about 30, I started spotting right before my period. I My gynocologist put me on Clomid for way too long (nine months) because I wanted to have a baby. To make a very long story short, by the time I found out what was really wrong, I was spotting from ovulation until menstruation. I had sever (grade 4) endometriosis. I also had an uterine polyp. Both conditions could have caused the spotting and both conditions affect the ability to get pregnant. My suggestion to you is, do your home work and find a Doctor that is a specialist in treating endometriosis. This disease can be hard to diagnose. Also if you are going to have a laparoscopy or hysteroscopy you want an experienced surgeon especially if you need the lesions and or polyps removed. I went through the surgery and I feel 100 % better and I no longer bleed between menstual cycles! Good luck !
