Be sure and ask your doctor to test you for insulin resistence. IR is very common with PCOS women (although not all PCOSers have IR) and it is thought to be the main reason why alot of PCOSers do not ovulate on their own. IR can be treated with a medication called metformin (Glucophage) and alot of women have had ovulation and periods restored after being on this medication. If not ovulating is your only infertility problem, then you may be able to get pregnant on your own or with Clomid after being treated with metformin. If you are not IR (I am not) then it may take stronger drugs, such as Gonal-f, Pergonal, Fertinex, etc. to help you ovulate. Good Luck.
