: Hi, I am new to this also. I just found out about a week ago that I have PCOS. I am 24 and we have been TTC for 6 months. I have had very irregular cycles and my Dr told me that it was because I was on the pill for so long. I then changed Drs and this one told me I have PCOS.

: I am going to start my first round of Clomid this week and I am wanting to know what to expect. Also my Dr. didn't make PCOS sound like anything to worry about. After reading about it I am worried. Should he have already tested my glucose level? What should I be asking him for when I go next? I am new to this so please send me all the info you have.
: Thanks

Hi, i am 25 years old and was diagnosed with PCOS three years ago when I stopped taking the pill and did not get a period. My doctor did blood tests and found out that my androgen levels were wrong. Anyway, at that time, she put me on the pill and said not to worry about anything. Well, now I am thinking about getting pregnant, and although we haven't started trying yet, I am worried that I may not be able to concieve. Also, I have absolutely not been able to lose weight. I have tried redux, Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, nothing works, and I exercise 4 times a week. Anyway, i was interested if anyone has been able to get pregnant after being diagnosed with this. Thanks, tari
