I totally know what you're talking about. Fortunately I haven;t had the facial hair problem, but my testosterone levels have been sky high for a long time; I have had irregular periods ever since I started at age 12. When I finally do get one after 5 or 6 months, I am in such pain and they go on for ever. I have only recently begun to research this and am convinced that I too have PCOS, Hang ib there and keep looking for a docter that will listen to you and treat your condition. I'm going for my first unltasound in a week or so. I;ll find out then for sure what's going on! Keep in touch.
can't find a MD who will listen to the problems i've been having for over 2 yrs now. I was living with my boyfriend and we were wanting to have children. For over 2 yrs. we had unprotected sex but never concieved. I started to gain weight (over 100lbs) but i never changed my eating habits and exercise regulary. My periods have never been regular but they started to be more infrequent to the point now to where i haven't had one in several months. I've started to have hair grow on my chin and upper lip. I'm so embaressed. My old OB/GYN told my it was my fault b/c i was gaining weight and told me to go on a diet. I want some help. From doing research it sounds like i have PCOS. Someone please help me!!!!
