: What is a hostile environment? Well, it's a combo of a few things. In my case, my cervical mucus doesn't thin to a desirable level causing it to be too acidic for the sperm and I am either making them immoble or killing them off. We discovered this thru a post coital exam. Within an hour of having sex, the doc found NO moving sperm. I have absolutely no symptoms of this. He said this is a common thing and women don't even know they have the problem, yet a lot of doctors don't even recommend the test. All I know is, it has kept me from getting pregnant for a year. We are doing artificial insemination tomorrow.
Good Luck. Try not to get too stressed out while waiting for the results. It is much better to try and remain calm and take
good care of yourself.
