I've been having a lot of trouble with my left ear for over a week and a half. I got sick last week, but not like I usually do.. usually a flu or cold will leave me incapacitated for a few days, and then I get better, but instead I just got run-down, and a sensitive throat (didn't quite get to the point of being a sore throat). At first I just had trouble equalizing pressure, but now it's been 7 days since the last time I could clear it. I'm feeling every weather change (and I keep checking the barometer, and sure enough my discomfort changes with the pressure, and unfortunately I last equalized it during a storm so the pressure is staying consistantly higher than what my ear is at). I'm no longer sick or even congested at all. I've tried everything, including blowing as hard as I could. I've -never- had problems like this. My ears have always cleared easily, even on airplanes while sick... Any ideas? Do you think it might be something more serious for which I should see a doctor? -Ed.
