I too have had ringing in my ears for two weeks and persisted just like you all day and everyday.
Well basically the term for ringing in the ears is called, Tinnitus, and there are some herbal remedies which reduce the noise but really there is no cure for it. It should go away and sometimes Tinnitus is caused from pinched nerves in the neck but also can be cause by an inner ear infection or disorder. I still do get ringing in my left ear mostly then travels to my right ear and as im typing my right ear is ringing, grrrr, but i have just gotten to the point to where i ignore the sound, even though its hard to, but try to keep your mind occupied and off of your ears. Remember Diane, the brain does create and cure our health problems. So just be strong and if you feel like fullness or dizzy accompanying the ringing noise, go to an ENT=Ear,Nose,Throat doctor and get yourself checked out.
