BBPV or labyrinthitis??

Hi again. I need some advice. My vertigo started one night when I rolled over in bed. After that first episode I had several other episodes that lasted only a few minutes but always when I turned my head to the left or looked up or down. It is getting somewhat better but not gone totally. Been going on for four weeks. Doctor said labyrinthitis but I don't know. How long does labyrinthitis last?? Does this sound like labyrinthitis? I feel okay most of the time but sometimes just feel a little woozy and off balance especially when laying down or after working in front of the computer for a long time. Doctor gave me Antivert which made me too sleepy. Haven't tried anything else. I was waiting for it to go away but it really hasn't. I will have two or three days with no spells and think it is gone and then next thing you know I have another one. Does this sound like anyone else's symptoms? I also have a lot of neck pain but I have been attributing this to my TMJ but could this also be involved in the dizzy spells? I also have allergies and sinusitis compounding the problem no doubt. Anyway, thanks for listening. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
