2 weeks ago I developed some minor head congestion which subsided in a matter of 4 days. The hearing in my right ear was significantly reduced and has not returned, in fact it has gotten to the point of almost 0% hearing. A trip to the local doctor revealed a minor infection which resulted in a script for Amoxicillin and Gentamycin ear drops ( which I have been using for about a week but nohting has improved).
I have been using cotton swabs in a vain attempt to loose/dislodge whatever is blocking my ear. I know this is a big no-no, but I am going crazy.
I have experienced no diziness, vertigo or balance problems, nor have I had any nausea.
Can anyone sugges my next course of action? My girlfriend has suggested having the ears flushed by a homeopath and also suggested I try some ear oil she got for her ear troubles awhile back.
