I remember learning in the elementary school about the "hammer, anvil and stirrup" bones in the ear; so when I got that ear thump, it made me imagine them all going nuts in there, vibrating like crazy! To answer your question, I could hear and feel it about the same. Pushing on the outside of my ear made it subside briefly.
Good luck with your delivery...I hope your ear problem will disappear after your pregnancy like your doctors say. I'm impressed with your disciplined exercise thru your pregnancy! Way to go! LisaJ
