Heather,

Now, this puss you called it, coming out of your ears, did you see it? Was it clear or yellow in color? Any thing other than clear would indicate a bacterial infection and should probably be treated with antibiotics. I would recommend long term antibiotics, since the ears is a hard place to treat. Bacteria thrives there.

Anyhow, I have a condition called Eustachian Tube Dysfunction that you should consider or rule out. If anything I would just like to educate you on this condition so you know for future reference. The information on this is limited and I had a horrible time finding out what I had.

Eustachian Tube Dysfunction is when the tube that connects between the middle ear and the back of the nose (eustachian tube) becomes inflammed or swollen. This restricts airflow through the tube and can cause dizzyness, ear pressure or fullness, ear pain and many other odd symptoms. Treatments for this condition would include antihistimines, decongestants, nasal sprays, etc. And in my case, I had tubes inserted into my ear drums (the same tubes little kids get) which in the end, cured my problem that I suffered with for almost a year.

I wish you luck in your search for your cure. Please just remember to be patient and don't give up.

Sincerely,

Wendy
