Last week, I awoke at 4AM to feel the room turning. Approx. 3 hours later, I was able to get out of bed. It was frightening. I attributed the event to drinking too much wine but when it happened 4 days later, but not as severe, I went to my doctor. After he did some tests, he said, you are the 6th person this week to come in here with VL. He perscribed Meclizine to address the unbalance or dizziness when it occurred. This can last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. It is frightening when it happens. Why - they cannot say. It could be weather related or something of a viral nature that could be airborne. If anyone else has had these problems, I would be interested in how long it took them to return to normality. Good health to all.
