: Hi Tina: It is good to know there are others who have this weird feeling isn't it?? In February of this year I had a bout of vertigo that lasted for 8 hours-and my balance was also affected. It was horrible. In the past I had what probably was benign positional vertigo where, when I got out of bed inthe middle of the night to go to the bathroom the room would spin but it didn;t last long; this attack was different, I had fallen asleep on the couch in a sitting position and got up and couldn;t walk properly, then the vertigo hit. For a month afterward I felt sort of off balance and then it resolved for the most part; I also have ringing in my ears that comes and goes (I have it now) but I sort of dont pay too much attention to it; In any event, I have alot of the same feelings you have and when I am in my car not moving and the car next to me is I get sort of dizzy or feel woozy. I also am severely motion sick and have been for a long time and take Dramamine when I fly(which isn;'t often). So much of what you talk about rings true for me. I just hope it goes away soon. What do you take for it? any medication? thanks for sharing your story with us and good luck, for I think we will need it.
