: I awakened the other morning with this strange pain behind my ear on my skull. It was very sore, and then I began having dizzy spells that morning. My doctor thinks the dizzy spells might be a side effect from the perscription I'm on, but I've been on it for over a year without any dizziness. My feeling is that the dizziness is associated with the pain behind my ear...possibly some kind of inner ear infection. Is this pain common with the dizziness in an inner ear infection. Please help!
Hi there, I'm 30 years old female my ear proplem started 6 months ago after I had a bad flu.My ear pain is the same as you described.I also have constant dizziness with strange headache. My ENT doc think that I had a virus infection, but I know that he is not sure about that.... more I describe my problem to them they think I'm crazy!!
Any way I believe that this pain come from some kind of infection virus or bacteria( maybe become chronic).because my daugher have the same problem after she had a flu and became chronic.
