What you described sounds much like the condition I had called Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. When the condition first came on, I only experienced what you are experiencing. That "off" feeling, like you are not all there. Certain movements or light changes make it worse or better. And horrible fatigue. Eventually after dealing with that for 2-3 months, my ears started feeling full and painful. There were many other symptoms associated with this condition, but mine started the way you are describing.

This condition is a hard one to diagnose. It took me 9 months of going to different doctors and doing reseach to figure out what I had. Look into Eustachian tube problems and don't let all the doctors tell you it is impossible. 9 out of the 10 doctors I went to see for this problem told me "it has nothing to do with your ears."

After months of trying different medications, I ended up having tubes inserted in my ears. And it worked. Some medications you may want to try, nasal steroids such as Nasacort or Flonase, decongestants such as Semprex D or Alka Seltzer Plus. Those gave me some relief towards the end with the tubes.

Now that I am cured from this awful problem, I can tell all those 9 doctors to jump in a lake.

Just keep an open mind and don't believe everything the doctors tell you. Make your own diagnosis with the information you are provided.

Best of luck to you.

Wendy
