I had almost the same experience several months ago. I lost all hearing in my left ear while sitting at my desk one day. With that came severe vertigo and dizziness along with tinnitus. Basically it was diagnosed as idiopathic hearing loss due to something happening to my inner ear. I've been to all the top specialists in the country and they all can't explain why it happened. Basically, only time will tell if these symptoms change. Over time, all my dizziness went away and I got about 50% of my hearing in my left ear back. The tinnitus did not go away; however, I started Tinnitus Retraining Therapy and so far it has helped. I know how you feel, when something happens with no explanation it is tough. Keep the faith that you will improve and you will.
