humming/vibration in ear?

Hi, I'm a 30 yr old male. For about three weeks now I have awoken to a humming or vibration in my right ear. This is not a "tone" but more like a very low frequency motorized hum. When I first woke with it I thought someone was running a generator outside. Sometimes it "pulses" on and off. It's hard to tell if it continues throughout the day as external noises seem to mask the noise. During the last weeek I have had very minor fullness in ear and pain.

I do have tinnitus (due to loud music exposure) but this has been a ringing I've learned to live with. My family does have a history of fibroids ( I have a couple in my right arm, and my sister has an acoustic neuroma in each ear), but I don't have any loss of facial sensation or dizziness. No real hearing loss, even though about 20% of my right hear hearing ability was lost when I was 18 due to loud concert. Thanks in advance, Ray.
