Hi all. I am 30 and just found out what I had suspected for years, that I had IBS. Recently, I had a bout with diarrhea that was interrupted by constipation. After a week and a half I finally cleared up the other day. However, the GI said to resume a "normal" diet. The other day I had scrambled eggs and I was on the toilet no sooner than 10 minutes after that and severe cramping followed for about an hour or so. My system was back to normal that night. Does this mean eggs are a trigger or do u think it was a coincidence?? Also, is it normal for IBS to have food go through you that quickly and then be "normal" within 12 hours?? Thank you in advance. -Matt-
