Hi all. Firstly I just want to state that this board has been a Godsend. Even if I don't post anything, just reading the messages (and replys) has given me a storehouse of information. Harry, you're the best! My question is this: Is there any correlation between IBS and antidepressants (specifically Paxil). I went through the first portion of this year under extreme stress and depression and my MD prescribed Paxil, which I took, daily, for about four months. My withdrawals from the drug (early June) were horrific (no body, including my doctor) told me I'd be going through severe withdrawals). At any rate, my IBS started up just about the same time. So here I am, out of the blue-funk of depression and into IBS full-boar. I may be way off, but I wonder.... Dori Dori
