My IBS was always worse during my periods and right before my periods. I'm going through menopause right now (I'm 35) and when I have a hormone fluctuation, my IBS is worse. The only thing I was able to do for it and the cramps was to curl up with a heating pad and naproxin or anaprox. Near a bathroom I might add...
