Hi everyone. Got a question for you. A couple of months ago I had a barium enema. My doc decided on this instead of a colonoscopy due to my age (33) and low risk of colon cancer (not in my family, etc...). The barium enema was clear, but what I am wondering is if the barium enema would pick up colon cancer, and what is the advantage of the colonoscopy over the barium enema? I am still having right sided pain, and so I am still wondering the what if's. I would appreciate any insight. Thanks! Janet
