I have had ibs for 25 years and in the last year it has gotten worse. I have been taking up to 8 immodium a day to control it and up to 8 bentyl. My doctor just prescribed Questron and I am leary of it because on the insert it says not for chronic usage. Should I try Lomotex first? I'd be interested to know anyone's reactions to these drugs. Also do you take anything with them to make it more effective?
