: Okay everyone, here is a wierd one. I've had symptoms of IBS as well as dx'd GERD for a couple of years now. Yesterday I had a loose bowel movement (but NOT diarrhea) that looked bloody. As graphic as this is, I mean blood in the water. Then I remembered I had beets with dinner yesterday and thought that must be it. This morning, the same thing happened. Again I'm thinking it was the beets from Sunday, but I'm beginning to wonder. It looks like blood - not beets. The only thing is that I haven't had much pain over the last couple of days. I've actually felt pretty good (a little nausea, but that is something I've lived with for a while now - no biggy). Any suggestions about what you would think? I'm going to wait until tomorrow before I get too concerned, but has anyone else had this happen? c.
Hi, Sounds like a very active bleeding internal hemorrhoid. A little blood can cause all the water in the bowl to look like blood. I hope you are taking your fiber---daily.I also like to use an onitment --Rectal Medicone---before and after a BM.For nausea get a Homeopathic remedy "Ipecac" 30X and take it like it says on the bottle.
