Stick with the fiber -- I had the same problem at first w/ it "making me have diarrhea" but it does go away (it actually doesn't make you have diarrhea -- your body just needs time to adjust to the fiber). The thing with the fiber is it makes you more regular so that you don't have days of constipation and then explosive diarrhea. I take psyllium capsules instead of metamucil b/c I don't want all the extra sugar every day -- they do have sugar free forms, but then you get into the sugar substitute thing and that's not good for you either. Anyways. . . just stick with the fiber -- it will work in the end -- it won't be a cure all, but it will help tremendously!!!! Good luck to you! TK
