Question for Harry (or anyone else who can help!)

I got the results of my stool culture back. Everything was normal except there was a high white blood cell count. I have heard of a high white cell count in the blood, but not the stool. What could this mean? My doctor keeps telling me that she feels we have ruled cancer out 100% just by the barium enema and the fact that there was no blood in the culture, but I am still worried. She wants to do a colonoscopy to get a better look, but when I called to make an appt. the next available one was in March!!! Can you believe that? I told the lady I was bleeding, and she said she will work on getting me in sooner and call me back. There is no way I can wait till March!! Any response would be appreciated. Janet
