I have recently been tried on Lotronex for IBS and I have had symptoms of anxiety ever since. I have been off the drug for several weeks and still I am troubled by shakeyness and a pulsing feeling in my arms and legs. My doctor is now starting me on an anti-axiety drug. Since I have been on both drugs my IBS is no longer the issue. The shakeyness is the issue. I have had an echo cardiagram and a valve prolapse is not the issue. I feel like since I have been on the Lotronex a switch has gone off in my body and cannot return to normal. Usually my anxiety can be corrolated to an event but none has taken place. I feel my IBS was a way to channel my anxiety and now it can not do this. Any comments out there much appreciated.

P.S. Also all IBS suffers this has been my diet for the last 10 years when things get bad. No coffee, coke, acid juices, carbonated beverages, dairy, chocolate, gassy vegtables, acidic fruits, fatty foods, popcorn, alcohol. I lived on a high carbohydate diet and ate chicken, turkey, and fish and well cooked vegetables. Hard digesting foods like hard carrots, peanut, and popcorn would kill me. Tea and water were my main drinks. I took multi-vitamins and calcium supplements because my diet was so lacking.
