:Hi Angie, Julie, Harry,
I also am a celiac patient and my doctor says that IBS goes along with it. A good source of information is the newsletter "Lifeline" which you can get by contacting the Celiac Sprue Association, P.O. Box 31700, Omaha, Nebraska, 68131-0700.
It is full of the most up to date info, recipes, stories, ads from places where you can get wheat free, gluten free foods and if you want a shopping guide to help, you can order that as well by contacting CSA/USA at the above address.
The shopping guide is $8.00. The web site is:
csaceliacs.org. E-mail : celiacs@csaceliacs.org.
It is frustrating to have to be so careful but after a while it becomes easier. I eat rice-rice-rice. By the way, there has been some controversy on the white vinegar issue and some experts think it is okeh. I have been using mustard which has vinegar in it but you can get wheat free, gluten free mustard too.
Which one of you lives in Texas and where? I live in Tyler.
Good luck.
Elisa

: : You suggested I eliminate wheat and dairy, wheat as in wheat flour? If so, is there any kind of bread you can have? Does pasta have wheat in it?

: Julie---Angie E has big problems with wheat products --she knows much more than I do .
: Harry
