I've got IBS and I've also developed hemmorriods due to both IBS and my doctor having prescripted meds like Tylenol 3 with Codiene a long time ago (which caused constipation)(NOTE: I'm no longer on them). Will they ever stop bleeding when I have a stool? I'm told it's the hemmorroids that tear open when I have a stool, but i'm also told because of my syndrome the anal area is tearing too - (ehlers-danlos syndrome, connective tissue disorder, causes joint dislocations, inside's prone to tears, and skin tears easily). my questions are these:

1. Will the hemmorriods ever go away?

2. If not how can I get them to stop bleeding when I'm having IBS probs?

3. How can I protect the anal region from tearing and bleeding too>

4. If I take stool softeners, which one's really work? (I find they give me more IBS probs with urgency and pain relating with it than they help).

Thanks for the data, I'm just trying to get some ideas in my head to ask my doc about and try. We ran out of ideas ourselves.
