IBS

I just found this site and think it may be a godsend. I have had problems with my bowels ever
sine I had emergency bowel surgery 8 years ago. Scar tissue from a tubal ligation had wrapped
arround my intestine, completely shutting it off. I have been bothered with the big D and constant
abdominal pain for years. Have been on Modulon for 4 months now, and pain is gradually coming back,
and the bloating is worse than ever. I have also gained 20 lbs. over the last year- with no
major changes to my eating habits. I frequently require doses of Pepcid AC too still the
heartburn. How does one start to find out what might be the problem in the diet? HELP?
