Hi! I'm a 17 year old girl, and for the past 2-2.5 years I've had recurring symptoms of what seems to be IBS. I haven't seen a doctor or anything because I don't have a family doctor, and I can cope with my symptoms. 1-2 times every few weeks (sorry it's randomised can't be more specific) I have incredibly bad cramps, abdominal pains, and constipation. I may go to the toilet 4-5 times, and I only get relief in the form of intense diarrhoa (4-5 times also). I can't give an explanation of any triggers and I'm not overly stressed or anything but if this IS IBS, what do I do now, and how can I control it? I've heard certain drugs help certain symptoms but there are side effects and a highly increased fibre intake. If u have any thoughts please send me an email or write a follow up.
