Yes I have the same problem. Don't feel you are alone on this one, as funny as it sounds there are plenty of people who have the same problem.
I too find the noises embarassing when I'm at a meeting in work or other gatherings where the noises are noticable. Control for me consists of diet. Carbs, fatty and spicey foods really do me in so I avoid those when I know a situation a meeting is coming up, or some type of gathering where the noises might cause me some anxiety. I also take vitamins to help with digestions. It's not %100 effective but it does work a little.
