As you probably know colitis is an inflammation of the colon wall lining that can be caused by some things like antibiotics.Where as IBS is basically the muscles of the GI tract become uncoordinated -irregular and interfears with food that moves in the digestive system.It can happen in any area from your mouth to your anus. Both IBS and colitis can be helped by taking a water soluble fiber supplement like Metamucil.It is a bulk stool forming agent that helps you produce a gentle stool.Like Angie said pain killers in general will cause constipation which can cause problems such as hemorrhoids, diverticulitsis and many----many other problems. So, you should never allow yourself to become constipated.
The best way to get rid of candida infection is with the help of a healthcare professional.
