i've read that eating raw fennel seeds is really good for the digestive system. They are extremely chewy and even a small handfull takes ages to mash up + swallow. However i've found they give me constipation + also slow up the passage of food eaten afterwards (and probably before). it could be they're just too high in fibre (like green bananas) for my digestive system to cope with. Has anyone else out there had similar problems with fennel seeds or green bananas or green plantains?
