A friend was recently admitted with acute kidney failure. The lab tests showed protein in urine and creatinine
of 1.8. The protein in the urine disappeared within a couple of days. The creatinine level intitally dropped, but then
went back to 1.8 (now stable). The doctor now says that the ultra sound shows inflammation in both kidneys.
(no enlargement, etc). He has never had high blood pressure, but has now 145 over 104. He has a biopsy within
the next two weeks. What does all this mean? We're both scared? Has someone experienced the same?
