Bergers disease

Hi everyone,
My daughter was just diagnosed with bergers disease. she is 11 years old and in very good health but has been seeing a kidney doctor since december 1999 because of unsettled urine due to a strep throat. our kidney (childrens) specialist and diagnosed this as bergers disease and although we decided to postpone a biopsy she will be put on a low dose of blood pressure medicine for the time being. I would appreciate any info you can email me with about this to help understand this disease further. thank you very much.
