This message is to Lisa - My daughter is scheduled for reimplantation next week and I am terrified. She is 6 years old and is a grade II. She hasn't had too many infections (that we've caught in time), but she still has the reflux and will not grow out of it. Can you offer any advice on how I can keep her calm or anything you would have done differently with regards to the surgery. Did your daughter have an epideral in place for a few days after surgery? How long was your hospital stay? The doctor is telling me 3-7 days with 2-6 weeks recovery. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
