: I had a renal biopsy 18 months ago. Really nothing to worry about here, it is fairly painless, afterwards I just suffered a dull ache in my kidney area which subsided after a few days. Your hospital team may well insist that you remain in bed for about 24 hours, which is sensible considering a major organ is being poked and prodded!!! Hope all goes well for you. Best wishes to you.
