See your doctor!

It's really great when people take responsibility for their own health. Checking out symptoms of and tests to diagnose illness is important to help our doctors. After all they're only human. It is also important to understand your illness so you will know what the purpose of your treatment is...HOWEVER
I am so surprised at how many people on this board are trying to diagnose themselves. It's one thing to diagnose your own cold, but when people are having problems with their kidneys, a doctor must be seen! These boards are not for diagnosing your condition, but for support or advice. If someone has symptoms of kidney stones, the solution is not just to drink a lot of water to flush it out. You must drink a lot of water and get your butt to the doctor! Kidney stones can become lodged. Also the symptoms of infection can resemble kidney stones. Have some common sense! If you think you have a kidney problem, go to your doctor! You can only destroy your kidneys once & after that you have none left!
