Posted by william thompson on November 14, 2000 at 02:11:14:i'm a 28 yr. old male and i have passed around 65 stones, in the past 2.5 years. last week i passed 6 total, small stones in early part of the week , not much pain then saturday night at 10p.m. i started having colicky pain in left flank. have had surgery on left side twice before, too big to pass, hoping this was't going to be the same way, it was the largest one yet. the e.r. docs. said it was the biggest one they have seen anyone pass. it tore the tip of my penis, the pressure in my groin was insane! anyway i have 12 urologists and they keep
telling me to drink water ,more water, i have tried everything they have told me to do. all the stones are calcium oxalate, i 'm a small guy, 5'1" ,103lbs.
i don't know what to do any more i hurt in both kidneys all the time . in the morning after i go the bathroom my kidneys hurt for hrs. i take urocit-k
4 times daily. i don't know if all these stones are damaging my kidneys ,if so how much etc.
i have read and tried everything .seems like my docs have given up. need help! Thanks for you're time everyone.
