Posted by Jerome on November 18, 2000 at 14:28:17:First I want to thank Rob and Eliomedsa again for easing my anxiety about the creatinine level. The last question I really have is what can cause a higher than 'normal' reading in some people? I understand muscular people w/ streneous excercises can have higher readings. But that wouldn't really apply to me. I know that dehydration can do it. What about a high protein diet or strenous activity right before the blood test? Can it fluctuate, sometimes out of the 'normal range'? It's just weird that my doctor didn't think anything was wrong with my 1.7, but the nephrologist did seem a bit more concerned. Anyway, thank you all again.
Jerome
