I am young to have CLL and am looking for other young people. especially parents of young children, to talk about the every struggles of raising kids while dealing with this disease.
: : There is a book called cancer and vitamin C that notes, large doses of vitamin C have been recognised to slow down the progression of most cancers including forms of leukemia. In one case study in this book a man in 1954 wasable to control his leukemia by taking large doses of vitamin C (24.5-42 grams daily, 7 500-mg tablets taken 7-12 times daily) The supervising doctor asked him to stop but the patient continued. In the 18 months he was using this treatment he noted "a general feeling of well-being". The patient died of acute cardiac decompression in march 1954 at age 73. The doctor noted that the leukemia (chronic myeloid leukemia) had not progressed at all during the 18 months of the patients vitamin C intake.
