II am 59 years old and had CML for the past eight years. I have interforen for treatment. Of late, I was told that I have liver cirrhosis and
and the doctor could not detact the cause. The final conclusion was that It might be the side effect of interferon which I have been administrating for the last eight years. Now the clinical trial for STI 571 is available and the doctor suggested that I should take this trial. Will it be alright for me to accept this offer. For I am afraid it might not suit me due to my live cirrhosis. Kindly advise. Thanks.
