Hi, i'm 21 female. I've felt short of breath for about 3 years now - like I need to sigh alot. All the tests I've had (xray, bloods) have been normal except recently I had some lung function tests which weren't normal - they showed I had a very small lung volume for my height/age etc and when breathing out fast, I couldn't breath out all the air even though I felt completely empty, also I have sensitive airways but not quite asthma. The guy said it was showing possible restrictive lungs - what does that mean? I'm seeing the lung specialist again to discuss but the appointments ages away! anyone with info on this please reply!
