: Seems like since I moved into the condo a few months back I've experienced wheezing similar to when I was a teenager with asthma problems. I know that this building did have some water damage in the walls at one time and was wondering if maybe some mold could be causing this. A recent bout was worse then anything I can remember as a teen. The doctor currently has me taking Claritin, Zithromax, Methylpred, and a Proventil bronchodilator. Does this sound like a good aggressvie treatment?

I too would wonder about asthma and allergies. I would not only consider molds but dust mites as well. also I would wonder if the prior occupant had a cat. It can take months for the dander to be removed from a house after the cat is gone. Sounds like a good regimen, but I would ask to be put on a steroid inhaler rather than the methylpred (it is safer)
